polymer clay painted with acrylics and sealed with krylon matte sealant (2004)

In 2004 I made a pushmold from an original piece and it makes some super cute earrings! These are my first few cockatiels. They had been packed for the last couple years since my family moved, and I finally found them again!
When the crest is removed they can be painted as different types of parakeets, too! Thanks to my friend Rufus for the inspiration. He has some very lovely birds! I'm continuing to make more of these earrings, and I plan to make some more molds of different kinds of birds.
I apologize for the shoddy photos. I need a better lighting method and a better camera for such small projects.
These are three different colours of cockatiels. from left to right: normal grey, lutino, and whitefaced lutino.

whitefaces lutinos are actually albinos. Very rare. [: These are awesome! I wish I could own one. lol
